Unofficial Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne Information Page
U.S. Release: October 2004 (Playstation 2 - Role Playing Game) by ATLUS
Just what is Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne? Basically, it's the newest RPG in the Megami Tensei series of games by Atlus. But what makes this game unique is it's dark atmosphere, modern day setting and the ability to negotiate and ally with your enemies during combat rather than your basic hack and slash rpg. The purpose of this page is to help you decide whether or not you should purchase Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne. Obviously, if you ask me, I'd say YES! But I'm just one person. So instead of me telling you that you should buy it, I'm going to give you as many links as I can possibly find to outside sources so that they can tell you what they think of the game. I think it will help you make your decision and hopefully it is yes. Please, by all means, watch the videos and read the reviews!!
The game is out! Go buy it!
Next up in the Shin Megami Tensei series: Digital Devil Saga & Digital Devil Saga 2.
Check out the collectors box for Digital Devil Saga here.

Note concerning scores: If the score is not a 10 point scale score (for example, the max is 5 stars or 4 points or whatever) I will calculate and translate the score into a 10 point scale. Since most other scores are 5 scale based, this usually just means doubling it. A 3 of 5 becomes a 6 out of 10, a 4.5 of 5 becomes a 9 out of 10. I do this so the scoring will look consistant when you look over the scores, but the score is the same.
If you think this looks cool, you should check out *the official US trailer* for the next game in the series, Digital Devil Saga. It's still in development, but should hit the U.S. sometime in the spring. This game has some of the best cel-shading I have ever seen and a cool music video!
A big THANK YOU to ATLUS USA for choosing to localize this game!
Don't forget to tell all of your friends about this page. Help preserve the longivity of the Megami Tensei series in the US!! : )
